In this vitmas I recorded way back playback I give you lots of suggestions for how to modify this beginner yoga flow to make it super yummy for your mind and body but ultimately you’re the captain of your own ship so you do you boo!

Whatever end of that you are on – it’s amazing to do a tummy and chest massage- being able to propriocieve & engaage the muscles in your belly allows you to actually use them properly when doing other “core” exercises!

Before you jump into this class I would like for you to carve out a bit of time to #bodyconnect and answer these questions in your designated journal and then don’t forget to re-answer them once you have gone through the flow!

30 minute Get to Know Your body Yoga Flow 💪 #bodyconnectbookclub Week 1

Welcome back!

All ball jokes aside {hahah who am I kiddin’? ball jokes aside? Isn’t that what Yoga Tune Up is basically built on? Embodiment and a plethora of ball jokes 🤔🤔}

Anyway- more on point
This week we are just feelin’ things out- getting re-familiarized with the body-mind and soul. Get to know your body.

Really we will be doing this for much of this book/ probs most of this book club.

While the ball rolling and getting in touch with our bodies is difficult and at some times “painful” it really is a bit more relaxed and meant to create awareness.

Ever had an AH-AH moment about connection? Well buckle your seats for another! ?

In this flow we play around with some of the Fascial Lines described in Monday’s talk  ??‍♀️help create some of those Ah-Ah moments. Some Spinal Line work to help you picture some of the connections within our bodies. Like HELLO- opposite shoulder to opposite hip! With how intertwined we are it kinda becomes a which came first the chicken or the egg scenario {the shoulder or the hip?} What do you think?

Clearly I have a weaker shoulder and a stronger shoulder ?‍♀️ – do you?? Find out more about your shoulder & Down Dog on April 17!

For now – pull up a mat & let’s sweat & yoga. ??‍

P.S. As you listen to my horse breathing in some of the shoulder moves as we link movement to breath – think about how the diaphragm is entangled with the shoulders and how they can affect each other via those spinal lines!
