This year I wanted to vlogmas cause ya know #christmasspirit πŸ’πŸΌ
but letssssss be honest I spend most of my time working out or cooking lolz so I decided to make it a bit o an ole twist and call it vitmas {although I will probs still refer to it as vlogmas most of the time } .

VITMAS = Vlog Fit ChristmasΒ πŸŽ„

and today is numero uno! We kick it off with a lil at home arms workout
The workout starts at 5:03 and you’ll need some lighter dumbells {I’m using 2kg s} or I love using water bottle or just bodyweight when I am travelling

We are doing the 3x3x3 breakdown which is 3 exercises 3 times each and 3 sets

Workout breakdown:

Set 1

πŸ’ͺ 15 Lateral Raises
πŸ’ͺ 15 Lateral Raises w Reverse Flies

Set 2
πŸ’ͺ 15 Externally Rotated Tricept Extensions
πŸ’ͺ 30 Shoulder taps
πŸ’ͺ 15 Weighted Sun Salutation Arms

Set 3
πŸ’ͺ 15 Serratus Pushes on each side
πŸ’ͺ 30 sec pike hold
πŸ’ͺ 30 High bicep curls

When I was choosing my YTT { Yoga Teacher Training } it was legit one of the most stressfull decision of my lyfeeeee – and yes I’m serious! way more stressful than choosing a University lol {mainly because I was #slackin and didn’t care about my uni degree and I considered my YTT a life changing decision but more on that in another vlog fo sho}

I know quite a few teacher that got less than brilliant anatomy education in their yoga teacher training and while they are brilliantly educated in other ways – obvi our bod is always our responsibility cause we ain’t no victim and they can’t necessarily help educate us on what’s happenin if something funky goes down in class!

Far too often I hear things like “oh I did yoga and got hurt” bahhhhh this upsets me so much but the fitness/yoga professionals can hardly be blamed a lot of the time- esp when we don’t know our glutes from our quads often times {before I got into this stuff I was mos def guilty of this πŸ™‹ }

So this week I decided to make some paleo banana bread! Let me tell ya… it didn’t turn out the way I wanted to exactly.

But there’s some killer footage of me dancing like a bit of a crazy person so….. Niki Minaj I’m comin for your dance moves fo sho!

Recipe of the Failed Banana Bread comin atcha:

6 banana 🍌
6 eggs πŸ₯š
Blend
2cups flour
Fold in 2 cups of mill of choice πŸ₯›
2 tbsp sweetener {maple syrup }
1 tbsp yeast
1 tbs baking soda
Cover and let sit in the fridge

Stir in choc
Oil- 2 tbsp
Splash of ACV

I had a really tough time when I first read the orange fascia demo in The Roll Model Method- and then again at my training.

It was really darn hard to picture and embody the muscle on that kind of level! It wasn’t until a good friend of mine broke it down w steak that I really got it.

It turns out that for me it was easier to picture from small to big not big to small like the explanations I kept getting!
